Laqiri begins in that instinct.
It is not trying to be the brightest thing you own. It is trying to be the one you do not have to think about. This is a deliberate studio. We do not move in volume. A piece only remains when it feels resolved — when the weight is right, the line is clean, and nothing about it asks too loudly to be seen.

Laqiri is made in Nairobi. Not as a detail. As a fact. The city moves fast and loud and full of itself, and we have chosen, inside all of that, to work slowly. What comes out of here is not rushed toward you. It waits until it is ready.
